History
The league was formed in 1953 as a way for AT&T employees and family members to socialize and build friendships with one another in a non-work environment.
San Antonio Telecommunications Employee Golf Association thrived as a private league for many years. Then after AT&T moved its headquarters and employees to Dallas in 2007, SATEGA GOLF became a public league and has grown to well over 100 members continuing a long tradition of Fun, Fellowship, and Integrity.
